About Us

The Butterfly Wings Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created in memory of my son, Justin Raymond Boudreau, who died at birth, as well as in honor of my father, André Bujold (cofounder of The Butterfly Wings Foundation), who passed away on Febuary 29, 2012, after a long battle with cancer.

Our mission is simple: helping others, giving hope and making life better! In more concrete terms, Butterfly Wings raises money for the Tree of Hope Campaign (Dr.-Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation) and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Moncton Hospital (Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation). By giving to these two causes, you will be helping people with cancer and seriously ill babies get the best possible care.

In addition to fundraising, Butterfly Wings wants to help parents who have lost a child either in vitro, at birth or shortly after birth. Through our website, discussion forum and testimonials, parents will have an opportunity to meet and share their experiences. Butterfly Wings wants to provide a similar forum for parents of children receiving neonatal care as well as cancer patients and survivors.

Our mission may be far-reaching, but it can be summarized in a few words: making life better!

Every year, we search for new projects to raise funds for the foundation, but we want those projects to have a meaning. That's how "Let the Butterflies Speak" was born.

I've always loved

Your donations go towards helping people with cancer and babies born prematurely. Once a year, donations are made to the Tree of Hope Campaign (Dr.-Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation) as well as to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Moncton Hospital (Friends of the Moncton Hospital...

Thanks to the generosity of our many donors, we've raised a little over $80,000 since 2011. Our fundraising goal for 2015 is $40,000.  You can contribute now by clicking here.
